Now-a-days many people ask for Shatabdi/Rajdhani.. I am compiling here a list of Rajdhanis which can be sustainable connect different places and do no violate the Rajdhani concept as well
Rajdhanis
1) NDLS-UMB-CDG-ANSB-NLDM-UHL-PTKC-JAT (after completion of NLDM-MEX rail link, can be extended to Srinagar once Katra Banihal link is complete) (will connect 2 state capitals with NDLS) - Daily

My take on Rajdhanis:
1. Good idea but starting this till Srinagar from the start and not daily would be better. The frequency can be increased later after more demand.
2. Bhopal already has many pass through Rajdhanis and a dedicated Shatabdi. If we look a pattern, all the near by state capitals of NDLS have a dedicated Shatabdi instead of Rajdhani. So I feel no need of a Rajdhani. An AC express/Humsafar or Duronto can suffice.

Delhi - Mumbai has high passenger load and every year since last 10 years there have been many fully AC trains (through and dedicated) introduced such as NZM-BDTS GR, DEE-BDTS GR, LTT-NZM AC, LTT-HW AC, PUNE-NZM AC, NDLS-BCT DURONTO NDLS-MAO RAJDHANi, still demand is high and there is huge WL in GR and Raj, so 1 more Rajdhani can be started..
Its not just speed that has made Rajdhani famous and respected everywhere but also the fact that it is a limited service (with less stops) that too for state capitals. Too many Rajdhani can degrade the status. I would be, however happy with the idea of Hamsafar/Duronto to CSTM/Panvel (future)/Dadar
