I saw ground work completed in few parts of hotgi-vijaypura-almatti and tracks laid at little part, no progress beyond almatti. May be they want to connect both NTPC's with double line(Hotgi and Kudgi). Doubling work reached londa from hubballi, yes it will take time from londa-miraj-pune.

NTPC funded SWR, as said earlier Hotgi-Kudgi doubling is in full pace may get complete before time, by end of next year, except two major bridges (Bhima and Doni). Kudgi to Bagalkot/Gadag may take time. /news/post/270533

Hey.. You was right.. I also surprised by reading news that Hotgi - Kudgi doubling started and expected to complete by 2020.
