If 130 kmph shall be the max speed of the proposed Tejas Trains, Mum-Del (1380 kms) journey in 10 hours is impossible.
Mum Rajdhani also run at same 130 kmph and does the run in 16 hours. At the best Tejas may save an hour or half by developing lighter coaches than the currently used LHBs and using loco at both end for quick acceleration and of course giving priority higher than Rajdhani.
Then what can be special about Tejas? probably a few goodies say RO water filter, better dust bins, WiFi...
