Hello everyone, been a while I was here in the imaginary train forum advertising for any self created imaginary train. Presenting my 104th imaginary train, it has been a while since the last one. This train doesn't utilise any spare rake or spare slot as my later trains have been doing. This is totally new proposed train, requesting all to kindly have a look at it.
With the perenial waitlist on all almost all the trains running on the HWH-CSTM trunk route, especially the ER serviced HWH-CSTM mail via COI which has waiting lists running in hundereds , it is only sensible for ER to consider introducing another Mumbai bound train via it's ER route. Presenting a proposed daily Kolkata-Mumbai bound

connectivity, this time courtesy Sealdah Division. This train covers up this 2222 Km KOAA-CSTM stretch in about 49 hours via the much neglected 'Coal India Corridor'. It wasn't possible to be able to give a SF worthy average speed to this train mainly due to much slow route it traverses (KOAA-BP-NH-BDC) & (DHN-BKSC-RNC-GHD-RNQ-SGRL-KTE). This train travels some 250 kms more than the standard HWH-CSTM route via KGP-TATA-ROU-BSP-R-DURG-NGP route catering to a much neglected and train scarce route. This area consists a lot of industrial hubs with a lot of potential for railway transport yet have been always faced neglect due to some reason or another.
This train starts at KOAA at a time when there are a lot of buses available so accessibility can't be a problem, anyway a fail-safe DDJ stoppage has been provided for passengers coming from SDAH side! The train joins the SDAH-DDJ-NH main line from DDJ, and joins the HWH-BWN railway line at BDC after branching off from NH! This train narrowly escapes coinciding with the slot of 13025 on Monday and narrowly avoids the clashing with the pseudo-Duronto Durgiana SF Express on the 2 running weekdays, from DHN to RNC it takes the slot of 18627 HWH-RNC Intercity tri-weekly via DHN with a slight speedup . From RNC-GHD I didn't take any particular slot so it remains to be seen that how many trains this train disturbs, that can be only deciphered after the X/O gets activated for this train.
This train would have sufficiently smooth running with 5 rakes with the return TT that I have in mind. Abundant slack has been provided after Igatpuri to compensate for it's runtime in KYN-CSTM sector during peak office hours! I would like a Mumbai based railfan to kindly confirm it CSTM has a empty platform at that time else I would definitely shift the terminal to either Kurla or LTT if needed. The train has two loco changes, one at DHN another one at ET! Loco links are HWH WAP-4 from KOAA-DHN & PTRU/ET based WDP-4Ds from DHN-ET & ET based WAP-4s from ET-CSTM.
Train follows the KOAA-DDJ-NH-BDC-BWN-ASN-DHN-CRP-BKSC-MURI-RNC-TORI -BRWD-DTO-GHD-RNQ-SGRL-KTE-JBP-ET-KNW-BSL-JL-MMR-N K-IGP-KYN-CSTM route. Chopan has been bypassed to avoid a time consuming Rake reversal. The longer DHN-CRP-BKSC-RNC-GHD route has been preferred over the shorter DHN-CRP-BKRA-GHD route mainly because I reasoned out that BKSC-RNC would provide far more passengers than BKRA or PTRU, avoiding the needed rake reversal at BKRA is an obviously a plus point.
This train has been created particularly for those passengers in the DHN-BKSC-RNC & CIC region who don't have adequate trains bound for Mumbai or other India metropolises. Particularly dedicated to the people living in the CIC belt who don't have either a DLI or a CSTM bound train, this train hopefully would fill up that void. If introduced this train is sure to fill up it's seats quite easily and in the process also fulfill the dreams of many a people dreaming to get into the 'City of Dreams: MUMBAI!'
Kindly flag the train green if it meets your approval. Anybody positive feedback and suggestions are most welcome!
Thanks!
