People are migrating enmass from the worst/worse to the best/better in proportion to the investor friendliness differential. Migration is not a bad phenomena, in fact is very much desirable as it promote national integration, which is very much required for a country with enormous diversity like India.
Migration is much common in USA where people readily switch jobs and readily migrate from one state to other. Since our states are formed on the basis of linguistic considerations, migration from one state to other is a much bigger deal in India as compared to USA.

Agree to it that it is good but scale has to kept in mind. Too much of anything is undesirable. Plus it results in congestion/overcrowding too.
It they are migrating because they are getting better opportunities at new place then it is good even if the scale is high as it indicates better future for migrants &development for nation . But if there is a single migration for undesirable reasons like no job opportunity, getting fed up with local (mis)governance/ administration then it may be good for the migrant but definitely bad for the nation.
