Nope. It's not maintained better nowadays. When it was introduced it used to have a FC and 2S chair cars vestibuled. But all has been lost now and what remains is the Express tag which it dutifully maintains.
but another thing... this is the only train b/w MS and Pdy i suppose. So they have to maintain it na.
Not exactly. It's the only EXP train between MS and PDY!! :) Even though I said it's not maintained well, it's definitely not terrible. For its short run, it's sort of OK. Have seen many trains maintained very poorly than this.
