Indian Railways is going to Introduce Insurance Scheme for the traveling passengers same as it's in Airlines. Pay Just Rs. 10/- and get a life cover of 10 lakes if any unfortunate accident happens during the Journey. First it will implemented on an Experimental Basis for online booking passengers and then will be extended to PRS counter bookings too. A win-win situation for both passengers as well as Railways. Railway will get huge revenue from this scheme and passengers will get life insurance.
