I feel that this train slows down innumerable no of times(at least 7-8 times) b/w NJP MLDT to match up with the schedule.. Given the latest maintenance of tracks in Katihar Div(post inaugural of Shatabdi),NJP MLDT 233 km 2 hr 50 mts is more than enough..during my recent trip,I noticed train had even touched around 127 kmph b/w NJP KNE with almost no jerks felt..otherwise 110-115 is smooth except the slowdowns.. & all these in the time when its flooded situation in this route a you can see paddy fields turned into ponds & section b/w UP-Dn tracks also filled with muddy water thus making the embankment vulnerable to landslide.Thus when monsoon situation improves from next month onwards I think MPS will increase by 15-20% more..
