I had a doubt Why IR neglects the delayed trains... example ..Today 12804 swarnajayanti had a good run till Jhansi then after it is delayed by 4hrs ... But other trains in the same route 12708 Ap smpk exp,22416 Ap Ac exp,kongu exp weekly , 12618 mangla lakshdweep exp ,12626 Kerala exp ... All these had good running except keral exp all other had passed 12804 ... And other trains in this stretch are running well except 12804..
thats how IR operates sir, a train loses its path once delayed and to avoid the delay of other trains they allow the overtakes, If its a home zone of the delayed train thn some chances of covering else no chance....
anything is possible for delay... yesterday 1 train got late because bird hit loco and lp side glass was broken so they had to change loco ... there are many reasons for delay some are in control, some are beyond control.
