For visiting Aundha Naganath temple (one of the 12 Jyotirlinga temples), get down at Hingoli Deccan which is on Akola-Purna section of SCR and proceed to bus stand (bus stand is around 3-4 kms from railway station) from where you get frequent buses/shared autos to Aundha. At Aundha, Naganatha temple is located opposite to bus stand in walkable distance (500 meters).

Alternatively, one can plan to get down at Parbhani junction on Manmad-Nanded section of SCR (as more trains pass through Parbhani) and board a bus to Aundha which is 50

kms away.

At Aundha, not many good lodges/hotels were seen and there is one Bhakti niwas run by Shri Naganath Sansthan, Aundha. This Bhakti niwas is located adjacent to temple (Rooms are having attached bathroom and renovation work was going on). The details are given in the picture (someone help me with translation from Marathi to English/Hindi).

Aundha Naganath is a town and a tehsil in Basmat Subdivision of Hingoli district in Marathwada region of the Indian state of Maharashtra.

The town is known for Aundha Nagnath Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, and also one of the prominent Twelve Jyotirlingas in India[3]. A pilgrim centre of great significance, since it is considered to be the eight (aadya) of the 12 Jyotirlingas in the country.
