Till date IR utilizes incandescent bulbs in most of the coaches which have to be replaced by LED Bulbs.
cheaper ones generally have low reliability, leading to frequent replacements and piling up unwanted costs.
plus LED bulbs have issues with below average power quality and mechanical vibrations. Incandescent bulbs, though less efficient work quite well even with low voltages and mechanical vibrations.

LED superior in all aspects. In my home i switched all incandescent bulbs to LED.LED works well, frequently power failures also sustained well and saved current vastly.
your home doesn't have low voltage issues or shakes due to P-way 24/7
LED bulbs and CFL both are excellent when PQ issues aren't there and everything isn't subjected to vibrations. If things are perfect they have a life that outlasts that of every other bulb on market, but rolling stock in India is far from perfect.
