You can spot the local buses when the trains arrive, right outside Platform 1 on the left side of the parking lot. It fills up pretty quickly, so ask the tea stall guys or coolies for more information.

Local buses train ke aane par PF 1 ke bahar, parking ke left side par dekhne ko mil sakte hai, jaldi bhar jate hai. Chai stall ke ladko ya coolies se pata kar lo.

The buses you need are #61 and #65.
#61 goes to Kankanady, Lalbag, Kottara, Kodikal and it comes every hour.
#65 goes through Pumpwell, Nanthur, KPT, Kottara Chowki, Suratkal, MRPL and it comes 4 times a day at around 8:15, 10:50, 15:50 and 18:50.

You can find other buses by walking either left or right from the exit. If you go right, you'll reach Padil gate. If you go left, you can directly reach NH75 where you can catch a bus every 5 minutes. The fare is around 7-8Rs.

61 Kankanady, Lalbag, Kottara, Kodikal tak jaati hai aur ghante mein ek baar chalti hai.
65 Pumpwell, Nanthur, KPT, Kottara Chowki, Suratkal, MRPL ke through jaati hai aur din mein 4 baar chalti hai, taarikh ke hisaab se 8:15, 10:50, 15:50 aur 18:50 (approx timings).

Baki busse exit se left ya right se milegi. Right se jaakar Padil gate tak pahunch jaaoge aur left se sidhe NH75 pe pahunch jaaoge, jahan se har 5 minute mein bus milti hai. Kiraya 7-8 Rs hai.
