Narendra Modi for PM 42 blog postsBy the end of 2018, we could see this train and many other trains running with WAPPIES End to End. Because Mangalore is all set to be completely electrified by the 2016 end. The only section left will be Karur section which will be electrified by 2018 end.
Bhai Karur is in Tamil Nadu and Mangalore is in Karnataka and Karur Electrification has just started between Erode-Karur-Tiruchirapalli but Shoranur-Charvttur CRS is over and by the end of 2016 Manglore CRS will get over. So the Puducherry to Mangalore train can get WAP only between Erode-Mangalore.
Yeh Tamil Nadu aur Kerala and Karnataka mein rehne wala hi samajh payega.
There are 2 routes
By the end of 2016 all train coming from Chennai via JTJ-ED-CBE-SRR-MAQ will get WAP.
