It was scortching heat of May and after luring into Bhangarh Fort for around 3hrs, i head back to catch Ranikhet Express for Delhi,the trip solemnly compressed for super-natural events heard/seen in the Fort. :) These are some glimpse of Alwar Junction, a very beautiful station/place i must say,enriching the rich history inside itself.The lovely station building is the most attractive thing here. Rajasthan government must keep an eye on the main road connecting Alwar with the Fort, the condition of the road is too bad, still it creates a huge amount energy inside when you approach this place.

Just if it could have 2-3 more pf's, then it would have been amazing :) but i think there's space issue at Alwar.
Expansion of the station has already been planned. Regarding your doubt about space, officials say there is plenty of it.
Friend do u have any update about starting of expansion/ construction of new PFs work at Alwar station?

I even check the e-newspapers and have asked my friends to give any updates, but hasn't any. Yet there are 2 updates which you may or may not know of-
1. Work of Alwar-Bandikui doubling has begun from Baswa
2. Fairy Queen will again be running on the tracks from Delhi Cantt to Alwar(Maybe from the next rounf of trip)
