Need Help:- Question:- I will be issuing E-Ticket from irctc website.
A train Travel from "Station A" to "Station H" Covering stations in alphabetic order A-B-C-D-E-F-G-H.
If i book a ticket from "Station B" till "Station G" and board the train from "Station C" and De-board at "Station E"

ok, but in this circumstance or any other circumstances can one get TDR if they deboard the train earlier ? it is an e-ticket .
That rule has been scrapped
U cant get a refund for untravelled portion
Also u can change ur bp online bt u can't board a station later
Tte may mark u absent and allot the berth to rac passengers on board

Ticket confirm ho gai or chart prepare ho gaya to A se chado ya C se, D pe utro ya F pe TDR file nahi hota. Confirm ticket ka train k departure se 4 ghante pehle hi TDR file hota hai uske baad kuch nahi.
1. You can file TDR for E-G as you are short terminating your journey. You must collect Certificate from SM at E and before de-boarding you should inform the TTE on board so that he can mark your de-boarding info at the Chart and EDR. For this procedure, don't forget to take printed E-ticket.
2. You can not claim B-C, as you are boarding at C .
3. You can board at C with prior change in boarding point. Minimum 24 hours before the departure of the train at original boarding stn (B)...

Rule No.1 I think no longer exists. Has been scrapped long back. Now no refund on short termination of journey
