Electric locos reaching at Katra, Dehradun and Daund within intervals of few weeks show that CORE is pretty serious about rail electrification on various routes under the Present Ministry of Railways lead by Mr. Prabhu. It seems that track doubling is slightly slower than electrifying a crucial route (For eg: BSB-ALD via Phaphamau) ... Ambala - Patiala - Bhatinda - Ferozpur route(s) may be next in line :)
