Rajz~ 3600 blog postsJust a query.
I have booked a tkt in this train vide pnr no. 655-xxxxxxx for 3 passengers by irctc. Two passengers are confirmed and one is in wl. Current status is 8. Now I just want to know if suppose after chart preparation it remains in wl then can I file tdr. If I do so will I be getting any amount back as two are cnf and only one is in wl and three of us have to travel together

@-IR LACKS IN MANAGER~ Please do not say anything if you are not aware of rules.

Even if any passenger remains in WL with other CNF-RAC being on single PNR all are eligible to travel on allotted berths. TTE may allot berth if available during journey.
No need to worry.

If a ticket is partially CNF, then WL passengers are also eligible for travelling. So the 3rd pax ( if status remains WL) can travel along with other two and try to get a berth allotted from TTE.
If under a single PNR multiple passengers have a ticket and if some of them got confirmed and some are in WL still after the preparation of the chart then the WL passenger can travel on that ticket. If he/she don't wants to travel then for that WL passenger a TDR needs to be filed.
