– All coaches will have tea and coffee vending machines from now on. Hence, the business of tea/coffee vendors at platforms can get affected.

my opinion this is good for health and also safety also.. The vendors are selling in other class. and the passenger can use the machine in between station also.
but then railway will do heavy charge of tea/coffee
tea can be priced at 20 and coffee at 30

Vanchi Maniyachi junction in between Tirunelveli ,Thoothukkudi and Madurai in SR, coffee vendors coffee are super at Rs 5 only.But in other station vendors coffee are very poor quality at Rs 10.
there is not any restriction to you can use the machine. if you not efforts to 20 -30 rs. the other way is vendors. like AC and sleeper.
you pay more for comfortable. Ha HA HA. but i think the machine will charge in 7-10 rs. like airport NASCAFE mechine
