Going by his penchant for environmental concern, great emphasis on the solar energy and wind energy, this environment friendly train-technology must surely be under his scanner.
This technology must be introduced for the heritage railways like Darjeeling Himalayan, Neelgiri, Kalka-Shimla, Matheran, Pathankot-Jogindernagar etc where very long journeys are not required to be performed, thereby avoiding any mid way refuelling of Hydrogen. These beautiful and cleaner trains shall better help us to maintain the heritage status of these railways and shall be liked by tourists also, thereby promoting the tourism industry as well.
