(1) Decision of terminating the 500 & 1000 INR may reduce the sale of tickets (esp. the high value ones) at the booking counter, for some period due to cash crunch that is expected to persist, as the new currency notes shall take sometime for circulation. However the on-line sale is likely to be unaffected.
(2) If the hoarders of black money (through 500 & 1000 Re notes) are unable to get it encashed and lose it, then the sale of very high value flexifare/suvidha tickets are likely to go down, as mostly the people flushed with black money don't mind splurging money in these tickets. Honest taxpayers avoid the journey altogether rather than paying very high flexi/Suvidha/Prem.Tatkal fares.

The tourism may take a little dip due to curb on black money. Accordingly sales to/from tourist destinations may be a little bit affected. Sale of normal priced tickets is likely to be unaffected.
Overall passenger revenue generation may not be affected to any appreciable extent. Effect on over all revenues of IR shall be very less(almost negligible).
