I dont know if this station was present before this line came up, but I am guessing it would have been a smaller crossing station having just 2 or 3 tracks as there is no other station between Harihar and DVG.

This loco came with Kotturu pass which had just 3 coaches was on Pf-1, my train UBL-KCVL was on Pf-2 while Arsikere-UBL pass crossed from main-line Pf-3.

Yes. Must have constructed 3 PFs now. But surprised even after spending for 3 PFs, no passenger (SBC-UBL) stops here.

Actually most of the works of SWR are this way. They have constructed Chikkamagaluru-Kadur new line and running 2 passengers. Both the passengers run back to bak within 30mins gap in the morning from Chikkamagalur and there is no pass in afternoon and evening at all towards Kadur. Same is the case with Kadur to Chikkamagaluru.
