Indian Railways: Divided By Zones, United By Railfans - Karthik

Yesterday i travelled to Mysuru by 56232 and returned by 16557. The ongoing doubling near Srirangapatna is in full swing as new two platforms are getting ready and line work on the north bridge of river Kaveri is ready on one track and almost complete on second track.The shifting of armory may take 2 months in my view. The great disappointment is with regard to RE work. Laying of poles is going on between Yeliyur and Mysuru. The power station at Yaliyur is yet to be completed. The RE work on the second line between Yaliyur outer to Byadrahalli outer towards MYS yet to start. In MYS poles have been laid at PF 4,5 and digging work going on PF 1,2 and 3.In my assessment the work may be over by June 2017. A photo of DL near Srirangapatna is enclosed
