I traveled 5 years regularly on Kanpur-Jhansi Route either by Intercity or Indore-Patna Express and I observed that at some places near Orai, the jerk is too much that if a person standing in the aisle without any support, he may fall down if unable to grasp any support or person. The journey feels like you are traveling in Bus not in the train.

Things are reported in vague manner, stating that in spite of speed restriction of 30kmph at some stretches of JHS-CNB section, the train was speeding at 30 kmph.
As a matter of fact, speed restrictions are there on almost all the sections of IR, the crux of the matter is- whether the 30kmph speed restriction enforced on the section of track where derailment took place? News paper is silent on that issue. The news presentation give a false impression that train was over speeding.

result of poor maintenance and replacement/renewal make the job of LP difficult and increase the chances of accidents. this in turn is a direct consequence of RM diverting the fund for the necessary safety related maintenance/renewals to his/her pet projects/trains (which mostly are loss making for IR). This is an example of how the financial mismanagement (of scarce resources) of IR done in the past, hits the train safety and can take hundreds of lives in a single shot (in fact several thousands per annum)!
