A historic day today, the first ever Electric Locoshed in entire India i.e. KYN ELS was inaugurated by GIPR completes 88 glorious years today.
Starting from 28-11-1928, KYN ELS has successfully housed a variety of Electric Locomotives like WCP-1, WCG-1, WCG-2, WCM-1, WCM-2, WCM-3, WCM-4, WCM-5, WCM-6, WCAM-1, WCAM-2, WCAM-3, WAG-5, WAG-7 and WAG-9.
They include Straight 1500V DC Locomotives, Dual Voltage AC DC Locomotives, Straight 25kV AC Locomotives with DC Drives and Straight 25kV AC Locomotives with AC Drives have been successfully handled by KYN ELS till date.

main to sirf itna bol raha tha ke Kalyan ELS mein locomotives homing capacity increase karna chahiye. Jisse ke KYN ELS mein 200+ se jyada locomotives homing capacity karne ki space ho sake. Aaj KYN ELS ki locomotives homing capacity sirf 100 ki hai. Agar CR capacity increase kare to KYN ELS mein WAP-7 locomotives bhi allot honge. Lekin amol bhai ne bola ke KYN ELS mein WAP-7 locos ki jarurat nahi hai. WCAM mein bahut dhum hai
I am not against KYN getting more locos . By all means, KYN should get more locomotives and now that CR is completely on AC, they should be allotted more WAP and WAG locos to meet the requirements.

Actually vo sahi h, CR me Mumbai se Pune aur IGP trains konsi hai, ice type aur CST-IGP CST PUNE MPS is 105 toh uss respect me WCAM3 is more than enough.
Outstation trains ko vaise hai AQ/BSL/ET links hai, agar in sheds me P7 badhaya toh jyada faayda hai plus CR me baaki jagah 110 hai, Aur Nagpur Division me 120 bhi h. Kalyan ke Goods loco JNPT aur JSW etc me freights me use hote hai, unko apne WAG7 ko banking se release karke WCAM3/WCAG1 locos se banking karana chahiye.
