By far, upto what speed a train can run with coaches having open windows(Sleeper, 2nd sitting, General)...?
The coaches with sealed windows like all the A/C coaches have a greater propensity to achieve higher speeds....
Please correct me if I'm wrong.
As far as my observation goes, Indian trains might be the fastest ones, having open windows...

Open window causes greater air resistance, while sealed coaches do not allow air transmission through the coaches, so the resistance provided by wind at higher speed is relatively lesser as compared with open windows.
So probably IR is the master of achieving highest speeds with open windows....!!!

Air resistance will be less in an open window train rather than a fully pack train.
* So negative effect of air on the speed of a train, will be less in open window train.
* At a normal speed of 60-80 kmph air resistance value remain non-considerable.
