Hi Everyone,
I need a clarification - I'll be arriving at ADI by 22958 morning @ 05:30 on 14th March and I'll be taking next train 12902 @ 22:00 Hours in the same evening.
Am trying to book a retiring room via IRCTC @ ADI, The website is showing me to book from 13th night 21:00 hours till 14th night 21:00. In your RR booking receipt schedule arrival time of your train will be shown. Even your train delayed by 2-3 hrs your booking will remain valid.
but
if your train delayed by more than your check-out time, you will not entitled for your RR booking. (don't know about such refunds)...

Partial Bookings are available with IRCTC also with some stations
The Rule applies to all. Why they are doing partial booking to certain stations is not clear.
If anyone can bring a 'specific case' with PNR and request and station name and officer who refused this request and date time of request, I will be glad to submit same to IR RM through pgportal.guv.in
