CBE Is a Halting Station only if any Loco change happens it will happen at ED Only sir so there is no need of detaching the Loco
My opinion is As the crew handled WAP-5 For the first time There might be some Handling Issues So they might Have Lowered the panto. I mentioned Gear ratio to mention difference between WAP-7 and WAP-5
