Better take auto upto BSB cantt bus stop from there you can find sharing jeeps and sumo to MGS. In case if you don't find at BSB cantt come to chaukaghat from there you will find it easily
Not sure about the fare , I had travelled long back . I was about to miss my train from BSB waiting for a connecting train from MGS , tht day I realized auto is the best option
If you are traveling alone number of share autos available from Varanasi Cantt to MGS they will drop you just opp to MGS station.. Last year i traveled and they charged around 30rs per head. You can hire an auto if you are traveling with family :)
if u prefer reserved auto then charges would be 180-220 (BSB to MGS)depends on your bargaining power ;)
if u take sumo then time would be around 35-45mins and shared auto will take around 1hrs and reserved auto 30-40mins.
