Guys a quick one - I have reservation for me and my friend. My friend wont be able to travel. Can i cancel his ticket out of the two? or will i hv to cancel the full ticket and take reservation again for me?

Sure, you can cancel the ticket partially and get back the refund. Don't need to book it again.
You can cancel your friend's ticket alone.
-->If its PRS ticket then you need fill the form and present it to PRS clerk

just i need to check the box against his name in irctc cancel ticket option... right?? i just chked now..
