May sound like a stupid question but what exactly is the price of a 1 liter water bottle sold by the pantry staff inside a train.Am asking you all because recently in Goa Express they charged me Rs 15 instead of Rs 12. When I asked the pantry guy he told me that prices have gone up since july 1st. Surprisingly only Rs 12 was charged at Londa station.

Nothing can be charged over MRP. If old MRP is printed, he had purchased it in old price, so they should have sold it in , what MRP is printed. u could ask for a receipt for whatever items u buy from pantry car. They r bound for that. than u can proceed for complain and action against pantry car contractor. but my experience is that as soon as u ask for a receipt he might had paid u back what more he had charged.
conclusion :- sometimes Bill, invoice or receipt can buy things cheaper

It depends on the company if kinley or aquafina then its 15 and others its 12
