The GS coaches of this train are numbered as D1, D2, D3, D4.

Normally the coaches marked as D are second sitting reserved coaches. I don't know about this train but trains like Vaigai/Pallavan Express have reservation for seats. And no one can board such coaches with unreserved ticket.
