Can someone please explain.. how come a RAC ticket turned into waiting on final charting...

I think ur ticket is in PUNE-ERS Special.If it is ,then the RSA partner of this train derailed 2 days back.Out of 15 , 7 coaches derailed.So the trains coach composition is reduced to 8 coaches(including 1 EOG).So that might be the reason why ur ticket went back to WL.
