whats the harm it is causing for Prasanti Nilayam ? every one knows its not a Superfast and actually a crawler by its schedule and arrived always ontime at their respective termminals more often than not... its an SCR trains and they gave a halt for their own train in their own territory...by the way..there is no proposal to even considering this to make it a superfast..then i dont see any harm to give it another halt ..

Kk also maintains the speed it is hauled by twin locos and keeps the speed upto Solapur the problem is more and more halts earlier it was mantralayam, then yadgir, then penukonda in future doddaballapur might be given citing the Karnataka name.regarding prashanti nilayam it is already a link exp halting for 1hr at gtl and it's a circular route to reach to kacheguda moreover for every 50kms there is halt for this train from Kurnool to sbc section

Prashanthi Nilayam never gets delayed at KCG... arrives ontime/before time to KCG... I do not find any issue in giving a halt for this...Moreover this is not a SF...

but what else they can do tell me....should they introduce another new train just to give halt for these stations and exclude all other who have trains to these destinations ?
as long as it meets its TT, they wont bother about these stuff...if at all , the halt is going to effect its punctuality then they will never consider to give it a halt which is a basic thumb rule...and more over Penukonda for KK might have been considered taking the crossing into consideration ..
prasanthi nilayam route itself was designed
...
that way from starting itself as it was SSPN-GTL-KCG train (DHONE-GY line was not present at that time) and then extended to SBC ...Prasanti nilayam is considered as a full train (even thought it got 4 coaches of VSG slip) when compared to most of the train of IR ..and its just taking another 40 odd extra kilometers if you compare it with 12785/86 SBC superfast ..so i dont think its a long route
