If I want to travel to Manali to Aug 1st week & If my mode of transportation is train which option I shall prefer, provided I don't want to spend more than Rs. 1000- 1200 per person and I want the fastest option. Please suggest me the suitable options. Thanking you in advance.
Arrive at New Delhi or Chandigarh by train either and you would get a lot of buses from there on for Manali...
Chandigarh is the nearest rail head to Manali...
Or also you can go by train to Pathankot junction and from there you can get a narrow gauge train for Joginder Nagar and from there on buses or taxis..
But the best option...
