One observation as per english pronounces it should in hindi as सुम्मिट
anyways..
What we can do in this...
The name is Summit which means the highest point and on the CSTM-BSL Line it is at a peak height of 632 MSL. The British gave that name as Nasik was one of their captured towns for cantonment purposes.
