Good news Railways have decided to run with eloco engine to all express trains in Guntakal to wadi section from July 1st 2017.Right now Rayalseema express is running with eloco end to end.From July 1st Rajdhani,Garib rath exp.svdk express,shirdi exp,kolhapur exp,etc recently dmm-sbc-gtl trains running with eloco so now all trains SBC to secunderabad via Gtl getting elocos end to end.Guntakal division officers sent drivers for eloco pilot training .Source:Eenadu.net

Trains running via Gooty only get elocos..but not the trains via GPU.. Garibrath will not eloco... Rajdhani will get eloco and will be diverted via Gooty for 4 or 5 months...

towards secunderabad all express trains including Rajdhani,Duranto,Svdk exp will get eloco from Gtl via Wadi.Electric poles have reached Guntakal only wiring is remaining in this section of guntakal-kalluru.will take 3 or 5 months.

Yes .. no chance for these trains to get eloco.. till GTL-Kalluru gets electrified which takes 4 or 5 months..
