**Memories of the Legends**
There is a continuous action of creation and demolition in IR in terms of gauge conversion. MG/NG lines are getting demolished and new BG lines are getting constructed. After the GC work many MG/NG popular services like Vaigai Express, Ashram Express etc are transferred to BG and running successfully today. But many of the 'Dwarf' legends have been closed out and now live only in our memories. So which one of these legends you miss most and wish they could run on BG?

Lumding Silchar route has too low traffic potential to justify a BG intercity train.
* Route is extremely slow i.e. 200kms take 7 hrs, GHY-Lumding-Silchar overnight train (380kms 11-12hrs) (GHY 19:00 LMG 22:35-23:05 BDR 4:15-4:45 SLR 6:30) is prime requirement of the route and day time connectivity can be given by long distance trains coming from Delhi/Mumbai etc

While the following trains were not really 'Legends', it would be great to have some of these trains re-introduced.
1. SBC-Pune Deccan Express - Back in the day when the SBC-Pune was completely MG, the Deccan Express used to operate between the two places, with connecting BG trains to Bombay from Pune. After the GC of Pune-Miraj section, it continued operating in another avatar as an express between SBC-Miraj. A total of three dedicated daily trains used to operate between SBC-Miraj at that time. Only one runs today (Rani Chennamma Express). It would be great if the train is restarted as a daily SBC-CSTM/LTT train via Miraj.
