* E-DFC(LDH-Delhi-Sonnagar) & W-DFC(JNPT/Mumbai-Dadri/Delhi) are slated to be commissioned almost simultaneously by 2020
* Durgauti-Sasaram 56km section of E-DFC is the first section to be commissioned.
* Rewari-Iqbalgarh (Palanpur) is likely to be first major stretch to be commissioned in W-DFC, which shall take on the container trains and other freight trains from Kandla, Mundra, Pipavav etc ports thereby facilitating real DFC train operation. JNPT container trains shall have to wait a little to move over to DFC.
