Does this train gets affected (I mean Full/Alternate run Cancellations) during Dec,Jan months?

I was planning for SATNA via SER to avoid fog but SHIPRA Exp thru ER is also there to cater my purpose.
I presume 22912 SHIPRA EXP doesn't get Cancelled at all.

From where do you want to come to satna...If from howrah then I would suggest take SHM -UDP or SHM -BHUJ upto KMZ and any train from KTE to STA...because SER will be best in fog as compared to ER....I dont know about cancellation of shipra but there is huge delay in that region ie MGS , Gaya ...better to avoid that section and use TATA-ROU-BSP-KTE route.
SER is a big plus when compared to Foggy situations and relevant delays in ER.
Considering the length of journey to Satna from Howrah via SER, i have a different plans.
12222 Duronto on Saturday Morning and then 15160 from BSP-STA as a better alternative option.

Yes thats a good thought of course ...I would just like to add that you may also consider BSP-REWA fast passenger that departs from BSP at 18:30 ....if you are OK with SL class and don't want to waste time at BSP....you are travelling on Saturday otherwise Betwa or DURG-NTW would have been best for you but sadly they are not on that day.
