Further worsening of quality. I have almost given up on Railways managing to improve food quality. Improvement will not occur untill pantry services are made on par with corporate standards. IRCTC noida is the only caterer that is delivering some quality food
I never order food from train .I always carry home made food for one time and extra chapati with shrikhand ,pickles and fruits , bread , boiled eggs , potatoes for second time in a 24 hour journey .I prefer some snacks like idli, dosa in trian .last time I order in 2002 in train .
I remember in late 90s and early 2000 almost 75% of the passenger used to order in every coach due to hygienic and reasonable rate but now from past 10 years it is dipped to 10 to 20% passenger per coach .most of them they ordered for show off.
