I was Onboard Shatabdi Express (Evening service from Kalka) on Friday, 7 July and travelled all the way till New Delhi.

110 kmph b/w CDG-NDLS ( as per info given by LP And ALP Mr. Singh - whom i talked to )
1.Food served was good in taste. Base Kitchen is in Kalka. Dinner gets loaded from Kalka...
more... Itself. but o found the quantity was not as per the norms set by IRCTC. Catering is done by some Hotel Chain in the Name "Food on wheels-Rail Aahar".
2.Most of the coaches were 2006 made. Seats were well maintained. All leg rests were functional. Windows were clean.
3.This was my first travel experience in this train. I found this train very agressive the moment it departed CDG.
Saw BRC WAP5 at CDG. We were hitting 100 at the curve just after exiting CDG. Most of the stations were ignored rudely . Train got excellent priority as we entered UMB swiftly. ASR Swarn Shatabdi hauled by WAP5 Navkriti crossed us while we arrived .After a one minute stop (we arrived 5 min late) , we departed. UNA Jan Shatabdi was led by WAP4.
4.Crossed Shri Shakti with WAP4 at Kurukshetra And HOG enabled 12005 Kalka Shatabdi with HOG P7 from Ghaziabad at Dhirpur.
5.At Panipat , crossed CDG Shatabdi with GZB WAP5 at MPS and met one of the most Amazing Railfan i have ever met -Divyanshu Bhai. I was luck that the train stopped for more than five minutes amidst the station premises lit by LED lights as informed by Divyanshu . This ensured that we engaged in a Healthy Talk about IRI and other stuff.
6. Conditions of toilets were not good. At some Lavatories , Water Tanks were empty wheres in My coach (coach no - 06169) water was dripping from the tank situated at the ceiling. In my coach , 10 seats remained Vacant but Surprisingly WL prevailed in Executive Chair Car Coaches.
I also enjoyed reading the magazine - Rail Bandhu.
