A small step has been taken and hope this line will get many trains.
For any express train to be successful in this route, number of stoppages should be more.

If possible Mettupalayam-Coimbatore passenger can be extended till pollachi.
However for that they have to switch over to diesel loco once again.

Start from Mettupalayam at 8:30 am so that pilgrims can descend from the hills and board the train. I think train can reach Palani by 1:00noon and begin return trip at 2:00pm.
