This train should be made a daily service instead of terminating at Ernakulam on thursdays and saturdays.

As Ashok sit told, this train got name executive because it caters the office goers up and down.

Initially PM was at ERS. Hence it ended its service for PM. Now with RSA's PM is been moved to TVC. So ideally train should now go till ALLP and also they can get free, two train numbers
It was one of the fastest Intercity trains when started between CAN & ERS with limited stops introduced in the 80's. But, political pressure ruined this train with increase in stops.
As per the sourses according to the new TT the train will run till Alleppy on all days.
