This station serves as a good option for passengers going to Mandarmani. U can save around 30 minutes travel time by not going to Ramnagar by train and instead reach Mandarmani in 30-40 minutes drive from KATI.
Cars are sometimes available at this station to drop to Mandarmani. If not, take share autos to main Contai bus stop (arund 10 minutes from station) and you will get plenty of cabs to Mandarmani from there.
