NGP people will prefer NGP-BPL-JHS-CNB-LKO which is shorter, better & faster.
NGP-BPL-JHS-CNB-LKO-974kms-16hrs journey time (15024 YPR-GKP Express)
NGP-R-BSP-KTE-STA-CNB-LJN-1214kms-22 hrs journey time.
So extension from R by just 37kms to Durg is OK, but extension by 302kms to NGP is not desirable.
