Sukhro river railway bridge between Kotdwara and Najibabad.
After a pillar of the Kotdwar-Najibabad Sukhro railway bridge collapsed in July 2016, the railway department reconstructed a new bridge.
The crucial rail link between Najibabad and Kotdwar has been re-established with the construction of a new railway bridge that became operational. The previous bridge had broken due to illegal mining during the previous monsoon in July last year.
