North Central Railway (NCR) and South Central Railway (SCR) collected Rs 11.17 crores from passengers as 'superfast' surcharges, but some of their super-fast trains were delayed...
State government Bus transportation also named their services LSS Limited Stop Services,Expresses, Deluxe,Semi- Deluxe ,Non Stop,End to End,1 to 3 stops super,superfast Luxurious services ,AC class ,White board,green board,Yellow board Scrolling board etc .But actual time of running are just 20 minutes earlier for 50 km services and some times delayed over the Ordinary services.
But fares are collected 2 to 3 times over ordinary services. They mostly stopped ordinary low fares services like our IR very much interested in fully AC trains/ Humsafar etc for extracting higher fares from the passenger. IR policy nowadays that they want to convert all the long distance passenger as express with AC coaches .Poor persons are penalized by IR and State government Bus services...
