renjithbkrishnan~ 1462 blog postsWas coming to ERS by 12076 today morning; while checking tickets, the TTE came across two ladies(who boarded from SRTL, the station just before ERS) travelling without valid/proper ticket(they had either II class/season ticket). He asked them to pay the fine and promptly, one of the ladies claims she has no money; further she says there's no ID as well. She was also explaining that they've to reach office @ Ernakulam in time.
Even though the TTE kept arguing with them for some time, both were feigning ignorance of the Rules & refused to pay fine/disclose identity.

You can't compare JS and Parasuram express. JS is fully reserved train. It is meant only for reserved travellers. For season travellers there is always normal express and passenger train. And in most of the express trains running in Kerala, season ticket travellers are allowed to travel in reserved coaches of marked for the same.
But in parasuram reserved coaches cannot be used by season tckt holders. I was not comparing the 2 trains but the scenario which exist in both was similar discussed above.
Ernad leaves allp at 0615 and passenger leaves allp at 0715. Ernad reaches ers at 0740 and passenger reaches at 0855. But jnshtbd has much more convenient time 0815 and 0920.
Railway made a mistake by giving stopping at SRTL. Previously train was so good with only reserved travellers
Agree with case of Parasuram. It is kind of full train. Railway should consider increasing the coach to its maximum strength of24
