Experienced a ride in Queen after nearly 6 months and noted the following:
(1) This train is experiencing some congestion and not able to run upto fullest potential in various places upto MGS because of the 12424 running ahead of it. It would be good if 12424 schedule is made same as past or the time gap between the two is increased by another 15 minutes.
(2) In NDLS, the train departs at 4:25 pm but arrives at platform just 15 mins before departure. It causes inconvenience to passengers a lot. But then,

this is true of nearly most trains in NDLS.
(3) Food quality & taste has somewhat improved, atleast in 2A. But still not worth the price.
(4) I used to think NTES is not showing completely right but yesterday saw firsthand 12314 cover Gaya-DHN in just 2 hrs flat! Even if it used to be a low speed section in past, nowadays train runs with 100+ speed almost throughout this section and covers it in less duration than even MGS-Gaya!
So, keeping the duration for this at 2.5 hours is way too much buffer time. The only positive aspect could be that it can make up for previous delays in NCR if any.

Only Rajdhanis are probably allowed to cross 110 kmph in DHN-Gaya currently.
