He is a senior citizen who has recently undergone bypass surgery. Its very difficult for him to climb to an upper berth. Anything can be done officially to change his berth. Thank you
All he can do is request with the co passengers to exchange the berth but I don't think anyone will deny on humanitarian basis and I completely agree with you climbing that to for a senior citizen who is a heart patient and that too side upper berth is not difficult it is impossible
In case you need Lower berth, always book the tickets from PRS.
Else choose the option , Book only if Lower berth is available. If LB is not available , it will show the message to the user.
